Gosh, were we that young once?
This photo must have been taken around 1979. I was around 5 or 6 years old, and Dan must have been around 10. Almost the same age as Cassie and Clarence today!
I'm wearing THAT DRESS. Mom liked to call it the "Goldilocks dress" because I was wearing that dress in Kindergaten on the day we had a class play (Goldilocks and the Three Bears). Isn't it funny that I was assigned to play Goldilocks when I was such a tomboy! I didn't usually wear dresses back then either. I think even then, I thought it was funny that Miss Beatrice (my kindy teacher) let me play Goldilocks instead of one of the three bears. I think I would have been more proud to play one of the bears!
